Questions
- What does HairDrive cost?
- No monthly or sign-up fee. HairDrive takes 10% of the service price on bookings customers make on HairDrive and on bookings you add for a later time, and 5% on walk-ins. Never on the travel fee. The first 100 businesses pay 0% for 90 days from approval, or until 30 online bookings, one Founding place per person, payout account and location.
- Do I need to stop using WhatsApp?
- No. HairDrive sends booking updates on WhatsApp for you and your customers, so your phone stays the place you work from.
- How do I get paid?
- Customers pay the deposit online and the rest to you at the visit, or pay the whole booking online. Online payments are held by Digitec, the operator of HairDrive, and paid out every week, less the HairDrive fee and anything you owe, to your checked bank, JazzCash or Easypaisa account.
- Is there anything else to pay?
- Only if you choose to promote yourself: Spotlight (from Rs 2,500 a week) or a featured deal (Rs 1,000 a week). Every tool is free.
- What stops no-shows?
- Deposits, reminders, arrival codes and a reliability record: customers who miss bookings pay a higher deposit next time.
- Can my staff use it?
- Yes. Each staff member signs in with a WhatsApp code, sees their own day and can start walk-ins and take payment.
- How does staff attendance work?
- Staff check in on the staff app when they start work and check out when they leave. A service starts only for someone who is checked in, and no one can check out in the middle of a service. If someone forgets to check out, HairDrive closes it at your closing time, and you can correct the times.
- I have more than one branch.
- Add your branches; each has its own team and services, and customers choose the branch when they book.
- How long does joining take?
- About 15 minutes to sign up. HairDrive checks every business within 24 hours.
- Who can list on HairDrive?
- HairDrive is a marketplace for women’s beauty. When you join, you say who you serve: women only (your page gets the Women-only space badge), women and men with a separate women’s area (listed once HairDrive has checked it from your photos), or men only. Men-only businesses keep the free tools and their own booking link, but are not listed on the marketplace.
- Who can do home visits?
- Women professionals only. Everyone who visits homes gives her CNIC, its number and a live selfie, and HairDrive checks them before she goes live. Home visits are between 8 AM and 9 PM.
- Can customers report my business?
- Yes: male staff or not women-only, a price changed at the counter, or feeling unsafe. HairDrive reviews every report and never tells you who reported. Two reports from different customers who visited you pause your listing until HairDrive has looked.
