Terms of Service
Version 1.9 · effective 18 October 2026
The rules for booking beauty services on HairDrive.
HairDrive is a marketplace for women's beauty in Pakistan, where you find and book salons, makeup and mehndi artists, nail and lash studios, aesthetic clinics and women professionals who come to your home. HairDrive is operated by Digitec, a sole proprietorship (NTN 80943805), 70-E, Pak Arab Housing Society, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan ("HairDrive", "we", "us"). By using hairdrive.pk you agree to these terms.
1. Who provides the service
- The salon, clinic or professional you book (the "business") provides the service and is responsible for it, including its quality, safety and the products used.
- HairDrive runs the booking, payment and review system, checks every business before it goes live, and stands behind bookings through the HairDrive Guarantee.
- Medical and aesthetic treatments are given by the clinic's own registered practitioners. See the Medical & Aesthetic Treatment Disclaimer.
- Every business on HairDrive serves women. A business with the Women-only space badge serves only women, with women staff. A business that serves women and men is listed only once HairDrive has checked its separate women's area. Businesses that serve only men are not listed.
- Professionals who visit homes are women. HairDrive checks each one's CNIC and a live selfie before she can take home visits.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your WhatsApp number or email. Keep your phone and email secure; anything done after signing in with your code is treated as done by you.
- You must be at least 18, or book with a parent or guardian.
- Give your real name and number so the business can reach you about your booking.
3. Booking
- Prices, durations and free times come from the business. The price you see before you confirm is the price of the services you chose.
- Deals: a deal's price applies to the services in that deal; anything you add is at the usual price. A deal can end early if its places run out.
- Home visits: put the pin on your home. A professional only travels within their own distance, which we check at your pin. The travel fee is worked out from the road distance and shown, and fixed, before you book.
- Some businesses confirm instantly; others confirm within minutes during opening hours. If a request is not confirmed in time, it expires and any deposit is refunded.
- When you arrive, show your 4-digit arrival code. At a home visit, give it to the professional when they arrive.
- Home visits start at 8 AM or later and end by 9 PM. They come to the professional as requests: she sees that your ID is verified and your booking record, and she can say no.
- ID check for home visits. To keep our women professionals safe, the first time you book a home visit you give your CNIC (front and back) and a live selfie. The name on the CNIC must match your account. A HairDrive reviewer checks it, usually within 2 working hours. Your first home visit must start at least 3 hours after you book. The booking is held until your ID is approved, and only then goes to the professional. If it isn't approved before the visit, the booking is cancelled and your deposit is refunded in full. After that, home visits go straight through.
- Home visits always take a deposit until your ID is approved and you have completed a home visit.
- Felt unsafe. A professional who feels unsafe at a home visit can report it. Your home bookings pause until HairDrive has reviewed it. If it is confirmed, your CNIC is blocked on HairDrive, on every account.
- Report a problem. If a business has male staff when it says women only, changes the price at the counter, or makes you feel unsafe, tap Report a problem on its page or on your booking. HairDrive reviews every report. Reports from different customers can take a business off HairDrive while we check.
4. Paying
- Many bookings take a deposit to confirm: usually 20%, 50% for bridal, party and engagement packages, and 30% at clinics. Customers with two or more no-shows may be asked for a 50% deposit. For home visits the deposit is worked out on the services and the travel fee together.
- All online payments are received and held in the name of Digitec, the operator of HairDrive, through its payment providers (Easypaisa first, more to follow). Digitec pays the business after your visit. You pay the rest to the business at your appointment, unless you paid in full.
- Pay in full: at checkout you can choose to pay the whole booking online now, travel fee included, instead of the deposit. Nothing is then paid at the venue.
- Glow Points and HairDrive credit can be used on what you pay online for a booking you make through HairDrive (on the marketplace or a business's own booking link): points first, then credit. Glow Points can pay up to half of a deposit; the rest of the deposit is paid online or with HairDrive credit. If you pay in full, Glow Points can pay up to the whole amount. They can't be used for what you pay at the venue, for pay-after-service bookings, or for walk-ins and bookings a business enters for you.
- Some businesses let you pay everything after your service.
- HairDrive charges its fee to the business, never to you, and it never changes the price you see. There is no booking fee for customers.
5. Cancelling, lateness and no-shows
- Cancel free of charge up to 3 hours before your appointment; everything you paid is refunded, and Glow Points come back as points. After that, the deposit may be kept by the business.
- If you paid in full and cancel late or don't come, the business keeps only the deposit part. The rest is refunded to you: Glow Points first, as points, then the money you paid.
- If you are more than 2 hours late without telling the business, the booking may be recorded as a no-show.
- If a home professional doesn't arrive. 30 minutes after the start time, if she hasn't tapped I've arrived, we ask you whether she has arrived. Tap Not yet if she hasn't. If she still hasn't arrived 15 minutes later, or 2 hours after the start time, the visit is closed as missed by the business: everything you paid online is refunded (Glow Points and HairDrive credit come back to your account), you get a Rs 200 HairDrive credit, and it never counts as a no-show on your record.
- The full rules are in the Cancellation, Lateness & No-show Policy.
- If HairDrive takes a business off the marketplace, everyone with an upcoming booking there is told. You can keep the booking, or cancel it before the visit for a full refund, even within 3 hours.
6. Glow Points
- You earn Glow Points on completed visits recorded in HairDrive: 2% of the price of the services. No points are earned on the travel fee for home visits.
- Visits and bookings at businesses in their HairDrive free period don't earn Glow Points of any kind, including bonus points. You can still use your points there.
- 1 point is worth Rs 1. Use them at checkout on a booking through HairDrive by turning on "Use my Glow Points": up to half of the deposit, or up to the whole amount if you pay in full. If that booking is refunded, your points come back with their original expiry date.
- Points have no cash value and can't be transferred. They expire 12 months after you earn them; the oldest points are used first.
- Bonus points: 500 points when HairDrive confirms your report that a business asked you to pay outside HairDrive. Bonus points follow the same rules and expire 12 months after you get them.
- We may cancel points earned through fake bookings, reviews or misuse.
7. Reviews and photos
- Only customers with a completed booking can review it. Be honest and respectful; don't post anyone's personal details.
- Your reviews show your first name and the first letter of your last name, with your initials. Your profile photo shows with your reviews only if you turn on "Show my photo with my reviews on HairDrive". It is off unless you choose it.
- Reviews from a business's owner or team, or from their numbers or devices, don't count in its rating. "Top-rated" needs reviews from at least 5 different customers.
- We may remove reviews or photos that are abusive, false, or break the law or these terms. Businesses can't pay to remove reviews.
8. Sponsored places
Businesses can pay to appear first (Spotlight) or to feature a deal. These places are always labelled Sponsored or Featured. They don't change ratings or reviews.
9. Fair use
- Don't use HairDrive to harass anyone, to book with no intention of attending, to make false reports, to take a business's clients or staff off the platform for payment, or to copy or scrape the site.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
10. Our responsibility
- We check businesses before they go live and act on complaints, but we don't perform the services and aren't responsible for the business's work, except as set out in the HairDrive Guarantee.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law of Pakistan that can't be limited.
11. Changes and disputes
- We may update these terms; we'll show the new version and its date here. Using HairDrive after a change means you accept it.
- Contact support@hairdrive.pk first and we will try to resolve any problem. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction.
